The advantages and disadvantages of various home elevators
Posted by Admin | 30 Dec
Beautiful and practical home elevators are now becoming popular. The home elevator not only meets the needs of people's daily life, but also realizes the value-added of the villa itself. There are so many types of home elevator technology platforms that are popular in the market, so many customers do not know how to choose. Next, I will analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the major technology platforms.
1. Normal traction elevator
Traction elevator is mainly composed of traction system, guidance system, door system, car, weight balance system, traction system, control system, safety protection system and other systems.
The advantages of normal traction elevator: stable operation, energy saving and environmental protection. The main machine adopts a permanent magnet synchronous gearless traction machine, which has low noise and power is generally only over 1 kilowatt. The main unit is located at the top, and the sound source is relatively far away. Flexible structure and economical price. Traction elevators can be divided into gantry type and backpack type, platform type and car type, steel belt and wire rope, and suitable solutions are designed according to the actual situation of the site. Traction elevators are modern products, and production modernization saves a lot of costs.
Disadvantages of normal traction elevators: the requirements for civil engineering are high. If the top floor of the customer's house is too low (less than 2600), it cannot be installed. The depth of the foundation pit must be more than 250 mm. It occupies a lot of space (56% utilization of hoistway), providing a car occupies a certain amount of space, in addition to adding a counterweight, so 2 rails are added, which will take up a little more space than elevators on other platforms.
2. Strong drive traction elevator
The strong drive operation principle of the strong drive traction elevator is to lift the car with a hoist fixed at one end of the hoistway.
Compulsory traction advantages: Compared with traditional elevators, the hoistway saves space, and the car area is maximized; the elevator structure is simpler and integrated, with fewer parts;
Disadvantages of forced traction: low safety factor and not very safe. In fact, it can be seen from the driving mode that this type of elevator is extremely unsafe, and it is necessary to regularly check the wear condition of the wire rope and hoist. High power consumption The so-called forced drive means that the elevator car is forcibly lifted. There is no part in the middle, so the power consumption is inevitably high. There are also disadvantages such as high noise and limited lifting height.
3. Screw type lifting platform
In recent years, the screw-type lifting platform has become popular among Chinese users because of its simple structure and beautiful decoration. Its mechanical principle is relatively easy to understand: a motor drives a nut to connect to the platform, and it is closed along a screw from top to bottom. Exercise in the well frame.
The advantages of the screw-type lifting platform: low civil engineering requirements and high space utilization. Simple structure and high safety. The screw-type home elevator has a simple structure, fewer vulnerable parts, and less trouble for customers in later maintenance. The structural principle of the screw elevator makes the screw elevator avoid the phenomenon of rushing and squatting.
Disadvantages of screw-type lifting platform: high mechanical noise. The screw elevator is that the nut rotates on the screw, so the mechanical noise is larger than other elevators (more than 50 decibels), and the noise source is closer. The running speed is slow and the comfort is poor; there is no car, just a platform running in the elevator shaft; the use of hand-drawn doors is not convenient for automatic doors. In recent years, new products have been updated to open the doors; there will be obvious frustrations when starting and stopping. The lifting height is limited. The maximum speed of the screw elevator is only 0.15m/s, and the general traction elevator can achieve 0.4m/s, and the speed difference is relatively large, so there are very few screw elevators now.
